Infant foodies!

It was all about food in Infants for November. We loved the stories Handa’s Surprise, The Tiger who came to tea and the Gingerbread Man. We had lots of visitors who shared food with us...from France, Hungary, Ghana and Mary showed us how to make Irish brown bread. We talked about how food changes when we heat it. We played in our restaurant and supermarket which involved lots of writing! In Art we made baskets like Handa with fruit for our friends and we used vegetables to do printing! We talked about the importance of hand hygiene before eating and did the milk and pepper experiment to show how germs hate soapy hands!
